Joe's Story
Nonprofit Fundraising Film | obrienfilm
The Challenge
A nonprofit counseling center needed an emotionally compelling film to reconnect donors with its mission. I had just 90 minutes to capture the subject's story.
My Approach
I planned and directed the shoot, hired a production assistant, and used a three-camera setup for efficient coverage. I built trust through relaxed conversation, allowing the subject to share his story authentically.
The Result
The film was featured at a fundraising event that raised $350,000 for the counseling center.

Multicamera Livestream | Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts
The Challenge
Create an engaging, reliable livestream that welcomed incoming online culinary students and helped them feel connected to their school.
My Approach
I designed a six-camera production system, selected equipment, developed workflows, and led the crew. I managed live switching, audio, graphics, accessibility support, and technical backups.
The Result
Launched a recurring livestream program reaching 9,000+ cumulative student attendees over approximately two years.
